How to identify your Audi MMI system version

To check the MMI system version, press the CAR or SETUP/MENU button, navigate to Settings, and then select Version Information. The software version will be listed there, and its prefix (e.g., HNav, HN+, BNav) indicates the specific MMI model.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Press the “Setup” or “Menu” button on your MMI control panel or radio.
  2. Navigate to “Settings” or “Setup MMI”.
  3. Scroll down and select “Version Information”.

Look for the “Software Version” (sometimes labeled as “Current Train Version” or “SW”) serial code. The first few letters of this code (e.g., HNav_XX_XXXXX_XX, BNav_XX_XXXXX, HN+_XX_XXXXX, RMC_XX_XXXXX, or MHI2_XX_XXXX) indicate the specific MMI generation you have.
